I think most of it was created to tell a ‘good’ story. I started it, so I was going to finish it, but it just didn’t hold my interest.Īnd while it may have served as a basis for the movie, incidents portrayed in the film don’t even occur in the book. Let’s just leave it at the fact that I was hoping for more from the book, perhaps a deeper sense of investigation, some insight into research… I just wasn’t getting any of that in this, and I walked away from the book disappointed. Is there something happening with this people, probably, is it beyond our current understanding, maybe, are there darker forces out there, possibly, but I don’t think anything is completely good or evil… even in my own experiences, though far fewer and completely unlike any Sarchie and his team have encountered, there never seems to be a complete sense of good or evil, there is a lightness or darkness, sure, but I don’t know.
